About Us
Beaton Properties was founded by husband and wife, Jamie and Lyn Beaton. Boasting 15 years of experience, they are the ideal company for you to realise your construction dreams. Whilst Lyn predominantly deals with the office side of the business, Jamie is very much hands on with any projects undertaken, ensuring you receive a personal but professional service throughout.
Jamie has extensive experience in the construction industry. After serving his apprenticeship as a joiner on the Isle of Skye 15 years ago, he and Lyn moved to Aberdeen in 2002 and
formed J. Beaton Joinery. They enjoyed a highly successful period that led to a merger with Moray based Kaber Construction in early 2011. After a further three fruitful years, they felt the time was right to branch out once again, in order to concentrate on Aberdeenshire, and Beaton Properties was born.
The company is based at Ardfork Steading, Oldmeldrum, a superb example of their high level steading conversion. Having acquired the land and farm building in 2008, it was subsequently transformed into four individual properties, exuding a modern style whilst remaining true to their rustic granite past.
All trades are supplied, enabling Beaton Properties to manage your project effectively and at a competitive rate. This relieves you of the hassle of employing multiple tradesmen, and ensures you only have one point of contact. Over the years they have amassed a number of professional contacts, who are trusted to carry out any
work on the company's behalf.
